bathbomb in motion
i am not a big fan of taking baths..but lush is quickly changing my mind on the art of taking a nice relaxing bath at the end of the day. sadly i do not remember what bathbomb this was, i know its one that is discontinued so its probably a good thing as i loved it dearly!!

washday greens
my very first introduction to lush & all its wonderful goodness was washday greens shampoo. my lovely friend & fellow lushie amy sent me a few odds & ends to get me started. i was hooked from the first sniff!
i love the minty rush you get when you open this. it just kinda hits you in the face in a good way. i am not a morning person and this is a great way to get me going. the combo of spearmint & peppermint oils will liven you right up, the chlorophyll helps with the oiliness and gives it the lovely green color while the bay leaf works as a toner for your scalp.
washday greens does a bang up job if you have fine, greasy or fly away hair. my hair has a lot more bounce and it doesn't get oily as quickly. i also love how the smell lingers in the bathroom making it smell like a minty forest post shower.
the only con i have with this shampoo is the runny factor! i've noticed most lush shower gels/shampoos are either funky & chunky or super runny. some of them you can shake & it does help but this was just ran everywhere, which with the price you pay wasting even a tiny drop is not an option! but on the plus side a little bit really does go a long way.
if you are unsure if you would like to smell like a stick of gum i would recommend starting out with the smaller bottle. if its not something you like, pass it on to somebody else & expose them to the wonderfulness known as lush!

babyface

i don't know how i survived so long without babyface, it is on my list of lush must haves. i have very sensitive skin & battle rosacea & all other face cleansers i've tired have made my skin worse. i use to dread washing my face each night but this little lovely has made my life so much eaiser. instead of a 10 minute project with 3-4 products, i use one product & i'm done in under 3 minutes.
lucky for me babyface is packed full of skin loving ingredients! babyface is made up of shea, cocoa & fresh avocado butters. another reason i adore lush so much, they have all the ingredients listed & its all organic & vegan friendly. another plus, no animal testing.
babyface is not like your traditional bar of soap. you don't just get it wet, lather & have at it... this is one of those lush products you have to get creative with! i run it under warm water about 15 seconds, just enough to get it warmed up to melt a bit. then i just run the bar of babyface over my face once & use my fingertips to massage it in. just use a warm washcloth to take it off & i'm done! it feels a little weird at first but within a few minutes my skin is amazingly soft & moisturized!
so if you're a sensitive girl like me, do yourself a favor & pickup up a bar of babyface as fast as you can. your skin will thank you!
i'm a bad lushie!!
i feel awful for neglecting my lush blog! i have so many wonderful shower gels, bath bombs and soaps to still write about..plus this was my excuse to try every lush item ;) i just placed another order last week so hopefully once it arrives i can get back into the swing of things!! in the meantime while i am waiting for the new goodies to arrive i am going to go back and edit some of my posts and hopefully post a couple new ones.
